Matcha Tea Sets

Matcha has moved from being a niche product to a mainstream drink. Developed in Japan from Chinese tea traditions, it is at the heart of Japanese tea culture and is now enjoyed all over South Africa. Matcha itself is a finely ground powder made from shade-dried green tea leaves (Camellia sinensis). It is particularly rich in antioxidants. This kit gives you everything you need to enjoy your own Matcha drinks - simply whisk your Matcha powder with hot water until frothy. The bowl and the whisk stand are crafted out of ceramic, finished with a gloss glaze. The sets come in an olive green colour with a hint of brown contrast, or an ocean blue, also with a hint of brown contrast in the glaze. The whisk and the spoon ladle are made out of bamboo.
